Stade Leburton to Host World Cup Medal Matches
7 Jul 2025
The Bronze Medal and Gold Medal Finals will now be held at the Stade Edmon Leburton in Tubize, Belgium!
Located just 3 kilometers from Proximus Basecamp, Stade Edmond Leburton is a professional venue with a rich pedigree in hosting international competitions. The stadium has previously welcomed top-tier events such as the 2007 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and the 2023 UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship, showcasing future stars of global football. With that legacy and its high-quality facilities, it’s the ideal stage for crowning the world champions.

We would like to thank Luna Deroo and the City of Tubize for their effort and this opportunity, to ensure more fans than ever can witness the climax of the tournament live.
Schedule & Venue Update
While the Proximus Basecamp remains the heart of the action for most of the tournament, Sunday's final two matches will move to Stade Edmon Leburton. Here's how the new schedule looks like:
Friday & Saturday: All matches remain at Proximus Basecamp.
Sunday (until 4:30PM): Matches continue at Proximus Basecamp.
Sunday (from 4:30PM): Tournament transitions to Stade Edmon Leburton.
The access to Proximus Basecamp closes at 4:30PM, and gates at Stade Leburton open simultaneously.
The Bronze Medal Match will take place at 5:30PM.
The Gold Medal Final will take place at 6:30PM.
Please be aware that spectators will need to arrange their own transportation between venues. Stade Leburton is just a short 3 km journey from Proximus Basecamp — whether by foot, bike, car, or carpooling with fellow fans, we encourage everyone to plan ahead and travel safely. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in making this transition smooth for all!
Ticketing & Access
With the move to a larger venue and strong ongoing interest, we are excited to announce that ticket sales are reopening across all three tournament days.
Thanks to expanded capacity and additional planning, over 1,000 extra tickets per day will now be made available — including for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Proximus Basecamp, as well as for the Sunday Finals at Stade Edmond Leburton.
This expansion ensures more fans than ever can be part of the live experience, cheering on their teams during the most exciting moments of the IQA World Cup 2025.
Due to the increased cost of securing Stade Edmond Leburton, there will be a slight increase in the price of all newly released tickets.
All VIP ticket holders will continue to enjoy access to their dedicated seating area at the new venue, ensuring a premium viewing experience. However, due to logistical constraints, VIP tickets will not be reopened for sale.
Please note that any tokens included with your ticket will not be valid at Stade Leburton. While food, drinks, and other purchases will be available at the new stadium, these services will be managed directly by the City of Tubize and will not operate under the token system used at Proximus Basecamp.
Parking at Stade Leburton will be free of charge, and therefore, no additional parking ticket will be required for vehicles entering the premises.
Finally, upon arrival at the new stadium, all entry tickets will be (re-)scanned, even if they were already scanned earlier in the day at Proximus Basecamp. This is to ensure proper access control and safety at the new venue.
Livestream
To accommodate the venue transition:
The Pitch 1 livestream will pause temporarily just after the semi-final matches.
Pitch 1 livestream will resume shortly before the Bronze Medal Game at Stade Leburton, ensuring fans worldwide can watch the final moments live.
For Participants
To ensure a smooth transition between venues, specific arrangement have been made for players and staff on the day of the finals.
The tournament organization will reach out shortly to all team's primary contacts about the arrangements.
Participants do not need to purchase any entry tickets.
We’re committed to making the IQA World Cup 2025 an unforgettable experience for fans and players alike. This move gives our finalists the elevated platform they deserve — and opens the gates for even more spectators to witness quadball history in a stadium built for world-class sport.
